ABOUT THE PROTOTYPE
LOST IN PARADISE is a student Pre production prototype made during our third year of apprenticeship in a video game school.
A project carried out in 30 days.
Here you are faced with an exploration and construction game that prompts you to traverse a vast landscape.
This project was carried out in a very specific context, that of containment linked to the corona virus. A particularly strange production for us.
WHAT DID I LEARN ON LOST IN PARADISE
Lost in paradise was a very big project for me. Having a team with few game artists, I put on a double hat for the duration of a project to assist my comrades as best as possible. Comfortable with lights and vfx, despite everything, I remained in a field that I knew.
The level design, Art and Building was relatively important given the map size of our V1.
Thanks to this project, I notably deepened my knowledge in terraforming and rendering with profiler.
